Summary:

The subject Chinese Language, one of the key directions in teaching Oriental languages, develops students’ phonetic, lexical, grammatical, and ideographic understanding of Chinese, as well as their oral communication skills, logical thinking, foreign-language speech competence, memory strategies, and independent language-learning abilities.

The dictionary consists of two major parts:

— a section for A1–B1 levels containing 600 words selected according to the HSK international certification exam lexical requirements;

— a section for the B2 level containing 1,200 words based on HSK lexical standards.

In total, 1,800 words have been selected according to Chinese speaking competency criteria.

This dictionary has been recommended for publication by Order No. 537 of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 22, 2023 (No. 592392).
