Our team consists of experienced translators, editors, designers, and external academic consultants with extensive expertise in Chinese literature, historical sources, and contemporary academic texts.
To date, the publishing house has released more than 20 book titles with a total print run exceeding 50,000 copies. Our publications are issued in Uzbek, Russian, English, and Chinese and are intended for a broad readership.
Silk Road Publishing maintains direct cooperation with leading Chinese publishing houses and academic institutions. We actively participate in international projects such as the HR Book Program, China Classics International, and BIBF (Beijing International Book Fair). The publishing house also collaborates with major publishers, including The Commercial Press, Duzhe Press, Shandong Science and Technology Press, and Shanghai Scientific & Technical Publishers.
In 2024, within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit held in Samarkand, publications released by Silk Road Publishing were presented to foreign delegations and international guests. In addition, partnerships were established with leading European publishing houses, enabling several titles to gain international recognition.
The activities of Silk Road Publishing are aimed at strengthening cultural and academic ties between Uzbekistan and China. In particular, in 2024, with the participation of Silk Road Publishing, the Chinese-language edition of works by the Uzbek writer O‘tkir Hoshimov, which attracted significant international interest, was presented.
Looking ahead, the publishing house plans to increase the number of translated titles to up to 100 publications per year, actively promote the translation of Uzbek literature into foreign languages, and expand its participation in international publishing projects.
Silk Road Publishing strictly adheres to copyright regulations. All publications are released on the basis of official licenses and contracts. Building long-term and reliable cooperation with authors, foreign publishers, and international organizations is one of the core principles of our work.
